Intrepid-Gaming is a site to build teams to play massively multiplayer online games. For this existing Joomla site, we built a custom application form which creates a user record that is inserted into the database in blocked status. We also built a custom component which allows members to review and comment on the each application. The super-admin can approve or decline the applicant, at which time the application disappears, the user is activated, and the admin is taken to the Joomla reset password page, which already has the user's email address entered, so we use standard Joomla functionality to welcome the new member into the guild. We also installed and styled the Agora forum.
